December and nothing's stirring ....

... except Christmas which is racing towards us.

I've not got much done to the bike at all. I've taken the tank off, removed the rear mudguard and pulled as much of the wiring loom out from under the oil tank as I can. This is in order to get as good a view as possible so I can work out what has to stay and what i can get rid of.
As you can see from the photo it looks like a mess of multi-coloured spaghetti.
I'm seriously thinking that re-wiring it will be beyond me and that I should pay a professional to do it properly.

I have decided to change the bars and will order new ones soon. The "sons" fairing and t-bars look is going to go and will be replaced by some sort of apes. The height has still to be worked out. I doubt if I'm going to wire them internally this time as they're going to be a pain to "dewire". (I know that's not a word but I'm sure you know what I mean with-out a longer explanation!)
My new wheels are the other thing that's holding me up. I just can't afford the front wheel I want for now. Hopefully, after the holidays I'll be a bit more flush and be able to buy the front one and get the forks fitted. The rear will need to wait although I need to buy a tyre before I'm back on the road.
