standstill

That's just what I feel I've come to!

Last weekend, when the weather was half decent (dry and bright) I couldn't get any work done in the garage as I had a plumbing emergency in the house which just couldn't wait. Damn these things which come between me and my bike!

So now I've had a phone message to say that my wheel hub is back at House of Custom. I'll  go in at the weekend and pick it up. I may be able to order the speedo when I'm in, although as funds are running a bit low at the moment, I will need to consider carefully and maybe put it off 'till next month. 

Though, I did see a posting  on facebook which made me realise that my bike is worth more to me than money.

A hundred years from now

my great grand kids

will not recall my bank balance

the sort of house I lived in

or the kind of car I drove

but they will remember ... I rode a

Motorcycle

So maybe I should just go and bust the bank!!
